Lucknow. Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh has made serious allegations against Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, of misappropriation of donations to Ram temple in Ayodhya and financial irregularities in land purchase. Sanjay Singh will appear before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the alleged donation theft and land scam to the construction of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Lucknow on Thursday. He has claimed that he has strong documentary evidence of three major land scams against Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, which he will hand over to the investigation committee. According to the allegations made by Sanjay Singh, the Trust has purchased land for the construction of Lord Shri Ram’s temple at prices many times higher than the market price.

Sanjay Singh told that land worth 2 crores was purchased for 18.5 crores, land worth 3 crores was purchased for 24 crores and land worth 9 crores was purchased for 55.47 crores.

Called to Lucknow Divisional Commissioner office
He has been called to the Divisional Commissioner’s office in Lucknow to give evidence to the theft of offerings in the temple. AAP MP and party’s Uttar Pradesh in-charge Sanjay Singh has confirmed the calling of SIT on allegations to donations and land to Ayodhya Ram temple. Sanjay Singh claimed that he will present all the documents on June 25. He will go before SIT chief Vijay Vishwas Pant.
