NEET UG 2026 Answer Key: The provisional answer key for the Re-NEET UG 2026 exam has been released. Along with this, the process for candidates to raise objections against the answer key has also commenced.

NEET UG 2026 Answer Key: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key for the Re-NEET UG 2026 exam, which was conducted on June 21. The process for candidates to submit objections regarding the answer key has also begun. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now visit the official website, neet.nta.nic.in, to view the answer key corresponding to their specific question paper set; if they have any objections to specific answers, they can submit them online until June 28.

This time, the NTA has adopted a different approach to ensure transparency. The agency released the provisional answer key before the scanning of OMR sheets was completed, giving candidates the opportunity to check their answers and point out any potential errors at the earliest. The agency states that this will allow the review of objections by experts and the OMR evaluation process to proceed simultaneously.

Objections can be submitted until June 28

Candidates can submit objections to the answer key from June 25 until 11:50 PM on June 28. A processing fee of ₹200 is required for each objection raised. If the expert committee finds an objection to be valid, the fee for that specific question will be fully refunded. The NTA has clarified that candidates should only raise objections regarding questions from the specific question paper series code printed on their exam booklet. If any question undergoes a revision, the benefit will extend to all candidates, regardless of which question paper set they received.

How to Check the Provisional Answer Key

  • To view the answer key for Re-NEET UG 2026, candidates should first visit the official website: neet.nta.nic.in.
  • Next, click on the link for the provisional answer key.
  • Then, select the series code for your question booklet, download the corresponding answer key, and compare your answers.

How to Raise Objections

If a candidate wishes to raise an objection regarding any answer, they must log in to the website and enter their question booklet series code. Following this, they should select the relevant code and question and upload supporting evidence. The NTA advises candidates to cite NCERT books or other recognized academic texts as proof. After verifying all details, a fee of ₹200 per question must be paid via debit card, credit card, or net banking. No changes can be made once the objection has been submitted; therefore, candidates are advised to carefully review all information before submission.

OMR Sheets to be Released Separately

The NTA has stated that, for now, only the provisional answer key has been released. Candidates' scanned OMR response sheets will be made available later, as the scanning process is currently underway. Once the scanning is complete, candidates will be given a separate opportunity to view their OMR sheets.
