UP Police Constable Result 2026: Answer Key Objection Window Closes, Here's How to Check the Result
Indiaemploymentnews | June 26, 2026 10:40 PM CST

Candidates who appeared for the UP Police Constable Recruitment Examination 2026 are now waiting for the declaration of the final answer key and examination results after the objection window for the provisional answer key officially closed.

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) had released the provisional answer key on June 20, 2026, and candidates were allowed to raise objections until June 23, 2026. With the objection process now completed, the board is expected to review all valid challenges before publishing the final answer key and announcing the recruitment results.

The examination was conducted to fill 32,679 constable vacancies, making it one of the largest police recruitment drives in the country.

More Than 28 Lakh Candidates Applied

According to official information, around 28.86 lakh candidates registered for the recruitment examination.

The written test was conducted across 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh on June 8, 9, and 10, 2026, with extensive security arrangements to ensure a transparent and fair examination process.

On the first day of the examination alone, 7,23,540 candidates appeared out of 9,62,832 registered applicants.

To maintain examination integrity, authorities deployed CCTV surveillance at examination centres along with static magistrates, supervisors, and police personnel. The board also confirmed that five cases involving the alleged use of unfair means were registered during the examination process.

What Happens After the Objection Window?

The objection window gave candidates an opportunity to challenge any discrepancies in the provisional answer key.

The UPPRPB will now examine all objections submitted by candidates. After evaluating the supporting evidence, the board will prepare and publish the final answer key, which will form the basis for calculating candidates' scores.

Only after the final answer key is released will the board declare the written examination results.

Although an official result date has not yet been announced, candidates are advised to regularly monitor the UPPRPB website for updates.
