ITV Line-up: Pundits, Commentators and Presenters for Senegal vs Iraq Clash

Both teams head into this crucial encounter fully aware that their chances of progressing to the knockout rounds are extremely slim.

Senegal and Iraq are on the verge of exiting the World Cup unless one of them can deliver an exceptional performance in their final Group I fixture.

Each side has suffered successive defeats against France and Norway, leaving them without a single point as they approach their final group game.

This means Senegal must secure a convincing victory to have any hope of advancing as one of the best third-placed teams. A win by two goals could be enough, although a margin of three or more would strengthen their chances. Iraq, however, face an almost impossible task, needing a win by five or six goals to stay in contention.

The match is scheduled to take place at BMO Field in Toronto, with kick-off at 3pm local time (8pm UK time).

UK viewers can catch the action live on ITV4, with the broadcast beginning at 7pm.

Earlier in the tournament, when ITV faced simultaneous kick-offs, the network aired a unified pre-match build-up across both ITV1 and ITV4 channels.

This approach will continue here, meaning the punditry line-up will mirror that of the other Group I clash between Norway and France.

Mark Pougatch, ITV’s lead host for major football events, will anchor the coverage from 7pm onwards.

Joining him on the panel will be Patrick Vieira and Roy Keane, two former Premier League rivals who famously clashed multiple times during their Arsenal and Manchester United days in the early 2000s.

Now on friendly terms, the pair have appeared together on both Sky Sports and ITV in recent years, demonstrating a more relaxed dynamic.

Vieira, who earned 107 caps for France and was part of the national team that lifted both the World Cup in 1998 and the European Championship in 2000, will have particular interest in the evening’s other game.

Completing the line-up is the ever-popular Ian Wright, whose charismatic presence is likely to bring a touch of humour and balance should tensions rise between Vieira and Keane during the broadcast.
