Mumbai: The mystery of the death of real estate businessman Ketan Aggarwal, which took place on June 18 at the historical Lohgarh Fort in Lonavala, Maharashtra, now seems to be solved. Regarding the matter, it has already been revealed that in the police investigation it has turned out to be not an accident but a planned murder. Due to this, the police have arrested Ketan’s fiancee Siya Goyal and her alleged lover Chetan Chaudhary. At the same time, during the investigation, Sia’s brother Sahil Goyal was also interrogated for about 10 hours, after which many important information came to light.
Sahil made shocking revelations
According to the police, Sahil told that he had received information about the relationship between Siya and Chetan several months ago. She also advised her sister to distance herself from Chetan and give priority to the arranged marriage with Ketan. Investigation also revealed that Sahil and Chetan became friends while playing cricket in the year 2024, after which Chetan met Sia.

Another shocking aspect has emerged in the investigation. According to police sources, after the engagement, Sia came to know that Ketan used to use hair patches due to hair problems. It is being told that she did not want to get married due to this reason. However, Ketan’s family says that they had informed the Goyal family about this at the time of finalizing the relationship and had also told that Ketan was undergoing hair treatment.

During the investigation, it has also come to light that after the incident, the accused also tried to erase digital evidence. Police said that both the accused deleted WhatsApp chats from their mobile phones before and after the incident and also emptied the recycle bin. Now both their mobiles have been sent for forensic examination so that the deleted data can be recovered.
Maharashtra CM met the victim’s family
Maharashtra government has also become active regarding this high-profile case. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis met the victim’s family and assured speedy justice. He has given approval to hear the case in a fast-track court. Along with this, it has been announced to appoint senior advocate Ujjwal Nikam as special public prosecutor in this case. According to officials, Nikam has also given his consent for this responsibility.
