Fast story of Hariyali Teej

Hearing the words of Narad Muni, your father Parvatraj became very happy and told Narad ji that he was ready to accept this proposal and get his daughter married to Lord Vishnu. On hearing this, Narada Muni reached Lord Vishnu and informed him.
But when your father told you this, you felt very sad, because you had already accepted me as your husband from your heart. Then you told your pain to your friend. Sakhi suggested you to live in a dense forest. After this you went to the forest and did very difficult penance there to get me. But when you were not found, father Parvatraj became sad and worried. They began to worry that what would happen if Vishnuji came with a marriage procession in the meantime?

Shivji further says to Mother Parvati – Your father Parvatraj started searching for you and united the earth and hell. But you did not find them. Because you were engrossed in my penance by making a Shivalinga from sand in a cave. Meanwhile, pleased with your penance, I appeared before you and promised to fulfill your wish. Meanwhile, your father also reached the cave searching for you. You told your father everything about your honor that you were doing penance here to get Shiva as your husband and today that penance was completed. You told your father, I will go with you only if you get me married to Shiva.
