Jyeshtha Purnima 2026 Shubh Muhurat: According to the Hindu calendar, Monday, June 29, 2026 is the full moon date of Shukla Paksha of Jyeshtha month. On this day, along with bathing, charity, worship of Lord Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi, worship of Chandradev has special significance. There is a religious belief that by worshiping as per rituals and doing charity on this day, one attains happiness, prosperity, mental peace and virtue.

Jyeshtha Purnima Puja Method-Mantra
- Wake up early in the morning of Jyeshtha Purnima and take bath with water mixed with Ganga water from any holy river, lake or at home.
- After this, wear clean clothes and purify the place of worship by sprinkling Ganga water or cow urine.
- Start worship in auspicious time. Install the idol or picture of Lord Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi.
- Apply tilak on the picture of God and garland it with flowers. Also light a lamp of pure ghee.
- Offer Roli, sandalwood, abeer, gulal, rice, flowers, basil leaves, incense, lamp, coconut etc. to God.
- After this offer food to God. Recite Purnima Vrat Katha and perform Aarti of God.
Offering water mixed with milk to the moon at night is also considered auspicious. This will maintain happiness and prosperity in the family.

Remedies for Jyeshtha Purnima
1. Donate food, clothes, water and seasonal fruits to the needy people.
2. Light a lamp and circumambulate under the Peepal or Banyan tree.
3. Offer yellow flowers and basil leaves to Lord Vishnu.
4. Offer Arghya to the Moon and pray for the happiness and prosperity of the family.
5. Giving food or green fodder to birds and cows is also considered auspicious.
