DU Admission 2026: Delhi University has commenced the registration process for admission to approximately 71,000 undergraduate (UG) seats for the 2026-27 academic session.
DU Admission 2026: An important update has been released for students aspiring to pursue undergraduate studies at Delhi University and those who have taken the CUET (UG) 2026 exam. The university has started the registration process for admission to around 71,000 undergraduate (UG) seats for the 2026-27 academic session. As part of the first phase of admission, registration has begun on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS-UG 2026) portal.
Candidates who have appeared for the CUET (UG) 2026 exam and wish to secure admission to a Delhi University college must complete their registration on the CSAS portal (https://admission.uod.ac.in/) in a timely manner.
Admissions to be conducted via the CSAS portal
Delhi University has clarified that admissions to all undergraduate programs for the 2026-27 academic session will be conducted exclusively through the CSAS (UG)-2026 system. Admission to the 73 undergraduate programs and over 100 B.A. programs offered across the university’s 67 colleges will be granted solely based on CUET (UG) 2026 scores. Candidates can register on the CSAS (UG)-2026 portal using their CUET (UG) 2026 application number.
Admission process to take place in three phases
Delhi University’s undergraduate admission process will be completed in three phases. In the first phase (Phase-I), the application and registration process with the university will take place. In the second phase (Phase-II), candidates will select their preferred courses and colleges, and the third phase (Phase-III) will involve seat allocation and the completion of the admission process.
Fee Payment During Registration
Candidates applying for CSAS (UG)-2026 must pay a one-time application fee. This fee is non-refundable. The application fee is ₹250 for candidates in the UR, OBC-NCL, and EWS categories, while it is ₹100 for candidates in the SC, ST, and PwBD categories. Additionally, candidates applying for BFA, B.Sc. (PE, HE & S), and B.A. (Hons.) Music courses are required to pay an extra fee of ₹400. Candidates applying under the ECA and Sports supernumerary quotas must deposit an additional ₹100 for each quota. The university has stated that the application process will be considered complete only after the application fee has been paid.

Delhi University has advised all candidates to regularly monitor the admission website for updates, schedules, and official announcements regarding admissions. The university has also announced that the schedule for Phase-II of CSAS (UG)-2026 will be released soon.
How Can CUET Candidates Apply Immediately?
Candidates who have appeared for the CUET (UG) 2026 exam should first register on Delhi University’s CSAS (UG) portal at https://admission.uod.ac.in/. Afterward, they should log in using their CUET application number, fill in the required details, pay the application fee, and submit the form.
