What to do to look beautiful?
Women often have this question in their mind that how to look beautiful. To get the answer to this question, they resort to many methods and sometimes even rely on the words of others. However, it is not necessary that every advice is correct. There are many beauty myths that women still believe in.
Myth 1- Combing your hair 100 times a day makes your hair long and thick.
Truth- Frequent combing increases friction in the hair, which can cause hair breakage and split ends. Therefore, for hair care, it is better to comb gently 2-3 times a day.
Myth 2- Oily skin does not need moisturizer
Fact: No matter your skin type, everyone needs moisturizer. For oily skin, oil-free and non-comedogenic moisturizers should be selected.
Myth 3- Applying lemon directly on the face removes blemishes.
Truth- If you think that lemon is the solution to every skin problem, then it is wrong. The acid present in lemon can cause irritation and allergy to the skin, hence one should avoid applying it directly on the face.
Myth 4- Expensive beauty products are always better
Truth- Many women believe that expensive beauty products are always good, but instead of the price of the product, you should pay attention to its ingredients and your skin type.
Myth 5- Home remedies are always safe
Truth- People often rely on home remedies to take care of their skin, but it is wrong to think that these are always safe. Things like turmeric, baking soda, toothpaste, lemon or vinegar do not suit every skin and can harm the skin if used incorrectly.
