Yan Diomande appears set to part ways with RB Leipzig this summer, according to multiple reports.
As reported by both 'Sky' and 'The Athletic', the Bundesliga talent has made clear his desire to join Paris Saint-Germain in the near future.
French transfer expert Fabrice Hawkins claims that the 19-year-old midfielder has already reached a personal agreement with the current UEFA Champions League holders, signing a preliminary contract that would keep him at the French giants until 2031. However, an official transfer deal between the two clubs has yet to be finalised.
Reports also suggest that PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and Leipzig’s chief executive Oliver Mintzlaff have been in close discussions regarding the move. Diomande remains tied to the Saxony-based club under a contract running until 2030, and with his current market valuation estimated at €90 million (as per 'Transfermarkt.de'), Leipzig are expected to demand a substantial transfer fee.
The potential move would mark one of the biggest transfers of the summer, with PSG continuing their strategy of securing emerging European stars following their recent continental success.
The situation is still developing, and both clubs are expected to negotiate further in the coming weeks to determine whether Diomande will be the next major signing for the Parisian side.
