A number of popular food products, including fruit, crisps, and more, have been urgently recalled over the last week after serious safety concerns were identified. Shoppers are being warned not to eat the affected food items and to check packaging details carefully against official recall notices.
The recalls span multiple brands and food varieties, highlighting how widely the issue may affect supermarket shelves. Among the most alarming cases is one product that has been reported to potentially contain “pieces of metal.” We have compiled a list of last week’s recalled food items below.

Morrisons has issued a recall for its Maple & Bacon Back of the Net sharing snack after it was found that some packs may contain milk not declared on the label. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) warned it could pose a health risk to anyone with a milk allergy or intolerance.
Morrisons is removing the product from sale and has issued recall notices advising customers to return affected packs and avoid consuming them.

It attached a customer notice from Morrisons, which reads: “Please do not eat this product and return it to your nearest store for a full refund. We don’t need a receipt.
“No other products are affected by this issue. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and assure customers of our continuing commitment to the highest standard of product quality and safety.”

Icesupp has recalled Icesupp Mango & Passionfruit and Icesupp Mixed Berries due to a packaging defect that may lead to microbiological contamination. The affected products are sold in community pharmacies.
The FSA warns against consuming these products and advises returning them to the store for a full refund, with or without a receipt.

The company stated: “Icesupp is recalling the above products. Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling these products.
“These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product. Please see the attached notice.”

Shoppers are also being urged not to consume Ferrero’s Frozen Nutella Croissants and to return them to the store for a full refund. This is due to the warnings that the product may contain mental fragments.
The dessert was sold in UK Lidl stores until the recall. It has also been removed in Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain, Hungary, and Romania for the same reason.

Ferrero said in a statement: “Ferrero announces the recall of specific batches of its frozen bakery products Nutella Croissant and Nutella Muffin in Europe due to the risk that some products may contain metal fragments.”
They continued: “The affected products are limited to specific batches. No other Ferrero product is affected, and consumers can continue to enjoy their products as usual.”

Morrisons is recalling its Coronation Chicken Pasta because some packs may contain Florida Salad, which includes milk that is not declared on the label. As a result, the product may pose a health risks to anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk.

Morrisons stated: “Morrisons is recalling the above product from customers and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall.
“The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers. These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product. Please see the attached notice.”

Several fruit packages have been recalled after Salmonella was identified in tests. The bacteria that cause diarrhoea, fever, nausea, and vomiting were identified on apples and kiwis used in Prepworld packs sold in stores.
These fruit packs could have been found in major supermarkets including Morrisons, Tesco and Asda, before being recalled.

The Food Standards Agency urged: “The possible presence of Salmonella in the products listed above. Symptoms caused by Salmonella usually include fever, diarrhoea and abdominal cramps.
“If you are experiencing these symptoms, you should stay away from work, school or nursery until you have stopped having symptoms for at least 48 hours to avoid passing it on to others.”
