Head constable Raghavendra Singh of Neemuch in Madhya Pradesh and history-sheeter Sunita Bishnoi alias ‘Sumta Don’ of Jodhpur in Rajasthan have together defrauded a sweet businessman from Chittorgarh of ₹ 2.45 crore. In this sensational case, a case has been registered under serious sections under BNS 2023 at Boranada police station in Jodhpur. At present both are absconding and their phones are also switched off.

According to the information received, the accused first extorted ₹ 1.05 crore in cash by luring the sweet businessman Parvat Singh Rajpurohit (resident of Jodhpur) to get the desired SP installed in Chittorgarh and to get the contract worth crores of Laddus Prasadi in Sanwariya Seth Temple. After this, in the name of getting bail from the High Court in a case of 65 kg opium smuggling, he recovered ₹ 1.40 crore more from another family through the victim. Not only this, to show her influence, Sunita also pretended to talk to the ‘High Court Judge’ in the car on a fake phone call, so that Parvat Singh could trust her.

When several days passed and neither transfer nor bail was granted and the dispute escalated after the case was exposed, the accused returned ₹ 30 lakh and in exchange for the remaining amount, handed over the papers of a disputed plot to the victim Rajpurohit (who already had a case of fraud registered against him). When the matter came to light and the victim asked for the rest of his money back, Lady Don Sunita Bishnoi threatened to kill him on WhatsApp. After this the businessman directly reached Boranada police station in Jodhpur.

The victim has handed over all WhatsApp chats, papers and call recordings to the police. Boranada police station of Jodhpur has registered a case of cheating, extortion and criminal conspiracy (BNS 316, 318, 308, 61) and started searching for the accused. At present the phones of both the accused are switched off. Investigation officer (IO) Chamanaram sub-inspector has been handed over the investigation.
