Actress Jasmin Bhasin's birthday festivities took an unexpected turn when she fell seriously ill during her trip to Dubai with her boyfriend, Aly Goni, on June 28. Instead of enjoying her 36th birthday, she found herself hospitalized on the same day.

In an update shared on Instagram, Bhasin disclosed that she had been diagnosed with Terminal Ileitis, accompanied by a significant infection. While she expressed optimism about her recovery, she admitted that the day had not unfolded as she had hoped.

Aly Goni initially broke the news through a heartfelt birthday message, revealing that the couple was in a hospital room rather than celebrating. He later provided further updates, assuring fans that she was receiving excellent care and was gradually improving, urging everyone to keep her in their thoughts and prayers.

Terminal Ileitis, as noted in a study published in the Gastroenterology Research journal, is an inflammatory condition that impacts the terminal ileum, the final segment of the small intestine. Symptoms can include lower right abdominal pain and diarrhea, and in severe instances, it may lead to internal bleeding. The causes can vary, including inflammatory bowel disease and infections.
