On Monday afternoon, a shooting incident in northeast Washington DC resulted in injuries to two individuals, according to local law enforcement. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) reported that they received calls regarding gunfire in the 1800 block of 18th Street Northeast shortly after 4 PM local time. Upon their arrival, officers found two adult males who were conscious and breathing but had sustained gunshot wounds.
Both victims were promptly transported to local hospitals for medical attention, although the police have not disclosed the extent of their injuries.
