- .gov.in is written at the end of the government website. So don’t trust websites that claim to be government but don’t have .gov.in at the end. You may be cheated.
- Always make tourism bookings through the concerned department’s website or official portal.
- Check the URL first before entering the booking details. You will find many errors in fake and fake website URLs.
- Never click on sponsored links by social media and google and don’t trust such links.
- Do not click on cheap offers and urgent confirmation links, as these are traps of cybercriminals.
- If you suspect any kind of cyber scam, you can call the helpline number 1930 or report it on the cybercrime.gov.in website.
