Renowned filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt is set to make his theatrical return with the original Hindi play 'Wo Subah Hum Hi Se Aayegi', which will debut in Mumbai on July 5 at the Mukti Auditorium located in Andheri West.
This production signifies Bhatt's collaboration with composer Anu Malik once again and stars actor Imran Zahid in the leading role, alongside newcomer Namitaa Sachdeva, who is making her theatre debut.
The play, presented by Mahesh Bhatt, is penned by Dinesh Gautam and directed by Tariquee Haameed, featuring original compositions by Anu Malik.
Set during the tumultuous 1990s, the narrative follows a young man's quest as he embarks on a journey with nothing but his aspirations and an unwavering resolve to face life's adversities.
Reflecting on his return to the stage, Bhatt expressed, 'Theatre removes all pretenses. There are no second chances, just the actor, the audience, and the authenticity of the moment.'
