In Tamil Nadu, even 2 months have not been completed in the government of Thalapathy Vijay’s party TVK and a period of political upheaval is being seen rapidly. This political atmosphere became more heated when a fierce tussle was seen between TVK and DMK over horse trading.
Both parties were seen accusing each other of horse trading. In this case, Chennai Police has also arrested three people for conspiring to instigate the government MLAs to leave the party. After the arrest the matter has increased further. Now BJP was also seen retaliating in this matter.
BJP targets TVK
Tamil Nadu BJP spokesperson Narayana Tirupati was seen hitting back over allegations of horse trading. He said that TVK Alliance is an opportunistic alliance. Be it Congress, CPIM, IUML or DMK, because they were part of the alliance, the public rejected them all. TVK has played a major role in horse trading of MLAs. This is an opportunistic and corrupt alliance.
TVK MLA’s complaint
In this matter, N Ilaiyaraaja, MLA of Uthangarai assembly seat of Krishnagiri district, has filed a complaint. In his complaint, he has said that YouTuber IPDS Thirunavukkarasu repeatedly contacted him and tried to convince him to leave the ruling party. Not only this, he also threatened them to gain support. After the complaint, Chennai Police has arrested the YouTuber.
What does DMK say?
In this matter, DMK has submitted a letter to Governor Arlekar, demanding an investigation against Chief Minister Vijay. The party alleged that the MDMK chief had admitted that the Chief Minister had tried to buy two MLAs. These two MLAs are TM Rajendran of Kadayanalur and S Senthil Selvan of Sarkazhi, who won on the DMK symbol.
