In a surprising development, reports from transfer specialist Florian Plettenberg of 'Sky' and 'The Telegraph' confirm that Bazoumana Touré is set to leave TSG Hoffenheim for Newcastle United in a deal worth over €50 million.
The winger from Sinsheim had only joined the Bundesliga side last year. Prior to his move to Germany, Touré played for Hammarby in Sweden, a club that had signed him in 2024 from ASEC Mimosas in Ivory Coast.
At St. James’ Park, Touré will reunite with Nick Woltemade, who was brought in by Newcastle United last summer for €75 million. The addition of Touré marks another major investment by the Magpies as they continue to strengthen their squad for the upcoming Premier League season.
