OnePlus Ace 7 Leak— Smartphone maker company OnePlus is preparing to launch the next handsets of its performance centric smartphone series, OnePlus Ace 7 and OnePlus Ace 7 Pro, in the market. Famous Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) has leaked key features of the engineering prototype of this upcoming series on Weibo. According to the report, this new lineup can be launched in the last quarter of this year (Q4 2026), which will directly target mobile gamers and power users.

Processor and display: Big upgrade for gaming enthusiasts

According to leaked data, the company is using Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (SM8850) chipset in OnePlus Ace 7. A slightly tuned version of this processor, SM8850Q, can also be seen in some selected models. This chipset works on advanced 3nm architecture. To keep the phone cool during continuous heavy tasks and gaming, a physical cooling fan (Active Cooling Fan) is also being provided in it.

Talking about the display, the device will have a 6.78-inch flat OLED panel which will support 1.5K resolution. The most surprising upgrade is its refresh rate. A high refresh rate of 185Hz is being given in this phone, which can be boosted up to 240Hz as per the need of the user. This will give a much smoother visual and touch response than the current standard 120Hz or 144Hz.

Battery and camera: What will be the other changes?

OnePlus is on its way to break all records in terms of power backup. The leaked report claims that around 9,000mAh to 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery can be provided in this series. To charge this huge battery faster, the box will support 100W or 120W SuperVOOC fast charging. At the same time, for photography, there will be a dual camera setup in the rear of OnePlus Ace 7 which includes a 50-megapixel main sensor.

The camera is being improved in the premium model of the series, OnePlus Ace 7 Pro. The Pro variant is expected to have a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens (Samsung JN5 sensor), which will support 3.5x optical zoom. Keep in mind that OnePlus has not yet officially confirmed this series, so some changes may be seen in these specifications at the time of final launch.
