IAS Transfer: Change in bureaucracy, 5 IAS officers get new responsibility in the state, transfer list released

Bureaucratic changes have been made in West Bengal. Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari’s government has transferred five Indian Administrative Service officers (IAS Transfer). Out of these, two have been assigned additional charge. Secretaries of Home and Hills Department and School Education Department have been changed. The order to transfer and appointment has been issued by the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms on Saturday.

Batch 2006 IAS officer Tanmay Chakraborty has been made Secretary of the Department of Public Education Extension and Library Services. Besides, he has also been given the additional charge of the post of Secretary, School Education Department, till further orders. Earlier, he was working on the post of Director of ESI Scheme of Labor Department.

These IAS officers got additional charge

Dushyant Nariyala has been given the additional charge of Chairman, West Bengal Central School Service Commission. Presently working on the post of Principal Resident Commissioner, New Delhi. Apart from this, he is also holding the additional charge of the post of Director General, NSATI and Chairman of SNTCSSC. Ravi Aggarwal, who is currently working as Commissioner of Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation, has been given additional charge of the post of CEO, New Town Kolkata Development Authority.

These IAS officers were also transferred

Subhashini E, Joint Secretary, Office of the Chief Secretary (P&AR) has been appointed as Project Director, KEIP. Apart from this, additional charge of the post of Joint Municipal Commissioner, Kolkata Municipal Corporation has been assigned. Sharmistha Das has been appointed as Secretary, Fisheries Department and Managing Director, BENFISH has been appointed as Secretary, Home and Hills Affairs Department.
