ChatGPT has unveiled its forecast for the final standings of the 2026-27 Premier League season, showing strong support for Leeds United and signalling a potential relegation shock. Arsenal are tipped to finish top of the table, described as marginal favourites to lift the title.

As reported by yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Arsenal are projected to amass 88 points, edging out Manchester City on 85 and Manchester United on 80.

Chelsea are expected to end the campaign in fourth place with 76 points, followed by Liverpool in fifth on 73 and Newcastle United in sixth on 69. The analysis also indicates that City, United, and Liverpool could remain serious contenders in the title race.

Leeds United are preparing for their second season back in the top flight after securing a 14th-place finish last season, eight points clear of the relegation zone. Sunderland enjoyed a remarkable campaign, finishing seventh and earning a Europa League spot.

Burnley were the only newly promoted club to be relegated immediately, joining bottom-placed Wolves in the drop. West Ham United also went down on the final day, while Tottenham Hotspur narrowly avoided relegation, finishing just above the bottom three.

Coventry City, Ipswich Town, and Hull City will all feature in the 2026-27 Premier League season after earning promotion — Coventry as Championship winners, Ipswich as runners-up, and Hull through the play-offs. Leeds chairman Paraag Marathe has already cautioned that a club’s second year back in the Premier League often brings new challenges. Last season, Leeds finished above Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest, and only two points behind Everton and Newcastle United.
