Ingredients required to make Spinach and Corn Pakodas
2 cups finely chopped spinach
1 cup boiled sweet corn
1 cup gram flour
2 finely chopped green chillies
1 tsp grated ginger
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp celery
salt as per taste
some water as per need
oil for frying

To make spinach and corn pakodas, first wash the spinach thoroughly. After this, chop it finely so that the mixture can be prepared well. Now boil the sweet corn lightly and drain off the excess water. Put chopped spinach and boiled corn in a big vessel. Now add gram flour to it. After this add green chilli, ginger, turmeric, red chilli powder, celery and salt as per taste and mix well. If the mixture seems too dry then add a little water to it. Keep in mind that the batter should not be too thin. The mixture should be so thick that small pakodas can be made easily from it. Now heat oil in a pan. After the oil is well heated, pour the mixture in small portions. Fry the pakoras on medium flame until they become golden and crisp on both sides. Take out the prepared pakodas on tissue paper to remove excess oil. After this, serve them hot to the guests at home.
Keep these things in mind while making pakodas
After washing spinach, dry its water thoroughly.
Do not keep the batter too thin. This will make the pakodas crunchy.
The oil should not be too cold or too hot.
Always fry the pakodas on medium flame. Due to this they cook well from inside.
If you want, you can also add some rice flour to it. This makes the pakodas more crispy.
