ZXMoto 820RR-R— To strengthen its foothold in the global automobile market, Chinese motorcycle manufacturer ZXMoto has launched two new motorcycles in the middleweight segment. The company has officially introduced ZXMoto 820RR-R sports bike and 820 R naked streetfighter in the market. This new offering is an advanced and high-performance upgraded version of the company’s already existing track-spec bike 820RR, which has recently taken the racing world by storm.

Historic victory at the 2026 World Supersport Championship

ZXMoto has established a strong identity for itself on domestic and international racing tracks in a very short span of time. The company entered the 2026 World Supersport Championship (WorldSSP) with its flagship race bike 820RR and performed brilliantly in its debut. With this, ZXMoto has become the first Chinese motorcycle manufacturer to win the globally prestigious WorldSSP race. Right after the success of this racing track, the company decided to launch its commercial model with more power in the market.

Big upgrade of power and specifications

The new ZXMoto 820RR-R has been designed with track-focused technology and premium components. While the standard 820RR’s 818.8cc inline-three (3-cylinder) engine produced 135hp, this has been increased to 145hp in the new high-spec RR-R version. Apart from this, to reduce the weight of the bike, lightweight forged alloy wheels, carbon-fibre winglets and titanium intake valves have been used, due to which its total weight has come down to 186 kg. For braking, it has been provided with premium Brembo M50 callipers.

On the other hand, the new 820 R naked bike has been introduced in an aggressive streetfighter look for riding enthusiasts on city streets. It also has the same 818.8cc engine which generates power of 135hp, but to make it a little economical, Yu’an suspension and Taisko braking system has been used in it.

What is special for riders?

Both these bikes have been provided with a complete package of modern electronics. These get cornering traction control based on 6-axis IMU technology, lean-sensitive ABS, and a 6.2-inch Android-powered TFT display. This display supports Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and Bluetooth connectivity. The company may soon make an official announcement regarding its launch and price in other global markets including India, which is expected to give direct competition to established companies like Yamaha and Kawasaki in the middleweight segment.
