Mumbai: Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Pvt Ltd today announced a change in leadership across its Sales, Marketing and Digital divisions. Jan Bures, Executive Director Sales, Marketing and Digital, Skoda Auto Volkswagen India is completing its global assignment period in India. He will continue to work with the Group and take up his new role at Volkswagen AG from September 2026.

Skoda Auto Volkswagen India sincerely thanks Jan Bures for his contribution to India and wishes him success in his new responsibilities at Volkswagen AG.

Following this change, Piyush Arora, Managing Director and CEO, Skoda Auto Volkswagen India, will assume the additional responsibility of Executive Director of Sales and Marketing for the Group in India. This strong leadership structure is designed to strengthen strategic alignment, accelerate decision-making and create greater accountability within the organization.

Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL), which has played a key role in strengthening India as a global automotive manufacturing and export hub, has been awarded the prestigious ‘Automobile: Top Exporter’ award by the Mumbai Port Authority. The company was given this award for exporting more than 40 thousand vehicles from Mumbai port during the financial year 2025-26.

Earlier also in the financial year 2023-24 the company was honored as ‘Top Exporter’.
