Iran's official news agency 'Fars News', quoting a very close and reliable source of the negotiating team, completely rejected Trump's claims. Iran says reports of any technical or diplomatic talks in Switzerland or Islamabad next week are "completely false and have nothing to do with reality." Tehran has made it clear that they are not bowing down before America and begging for any agreement and any future diplomatic steps will be announced only through Iran's official channels.

While both the countries are ready to fire missiles at each other, a very secret and high-profile diplomatic game is going on behind the scenes. According to the reports of 'CBS News' and 'Axios', US Vice President JD Vance, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner were holding secret meetings with Qatari officials this week. Negotiators from Qatar and Pakistan are currently present on Tehran's soil after two days of deadly attacks. They are making a last ditch effort to clear the clouds of war looming between Washington and Tehran, although how successful this secret mission has been is still a mystery.

Meanwhile, Iran's Parliament Speaker and Lead Negotiator Mohammad Ghalibaf has given an open warning to America. Ghalibaf said in a very strict tone that Tehran will never succumb to America's sanctions and threats. He said: "If at any moment the Americans break the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), we are fully prepared to defend and stand firmly against them. The conflict will never end with Iran's surrender." Not only this, Ghalibaf has appealed to Muslim countries around the world to come together and form a strong front against the increasing oppression of America and Israel.

Blackout in Hormuz Strait and chaos in global energy market

The global economy is paying the heaviest price of this geopolitical drama. The US Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has imposed new and extremely stringent sanctions against Ali Ansari, the right hand of Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei and a major financial facilitator. Ansari is accused of running a global assets network benefiting Iran's top leadership.

These sanctions have been imposed in response to Iran's latest attacks on international ships in the Strait of Hormuz. These attacks and tensions have led to a historic decline in commercial shipping through the strait. Since a large part of the world's oil trade takes place through this route, the global energy market has come under immense pressure.
