Private sector HDFC Bank has once again issued a downtime alert. Unified Payments Interface (UPI) service will be temporarily disrupted on July 14, 2026. The bank has given this information on its official website. Services will be available again after the scheduled time. The bank has taken this step due to schedule maintenance.
All banks carry out maintenance work from time to time. During this time upgrades are made to the system. So that customers can get uninterrupted and fast services. UPI service for HDFC Bank account holders is going to be closed for 59 minutes on Tuesday from 12:01 AM to 01:00 AM.
Bank’s advice to customers
The downtime will not affect other services. The bank has advised customers to use Zapp account or HDFC Bank Digital Rupi App (CBDC). During this period, cash can be withdrawn from ATM. There will be no impact on credit card and debit card transactions, IMPS, NEFT, RTGS etc. platforms. The bank has expressed regret for the disruption.
These services will be disrupted on July 12
Mutual fund transaction service on HDFC Bank app and NetBanking will be disrupted for 4 hours from 2:00 AM to 6:00 AM on Sunday, July 12. Whereas Forex prepaid card services will remain closed from 3:00 AM to 6:00 AM. Forex card loading and instant reloading service through prepaid card netbanking will not work. There will also be no impact on ECOM, ATM withdrawals, POS and Tap and Pay transactions.
