Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav planted saplings in Indore on July 12 under the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign. He gave assistance of Rs 2 lakh each to BSF soldiers and Prithvi organization. The target is to plant 21 lakh saplings for environmental protection in Indore.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav planted saplings under the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign at the BSF campus in Indore on July 12 and gave the message of environmental protection. On this occasion, BSF gave him a guard of honour. On this occasion, CM Dr. Yadav announced financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh each for BSF soldiers and Prithvi Sanstha.

In the program, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that today is a wonderful day. The city of Mother Ahilya is known for its glorious history. He kept the Sanatan culture alive and maintained harmony with nature. During the time of Mother Ahilyabai, a large number of stepwells were built at many places. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that after the formation of our government, we continuously worked on water conservation. Initially we took up a small campaign, then launched a bigger campaign. This time a campaign was conducted for water conservation for three months. Work was done on a large scale in Indore also.

Works worth ten thousand crores for water conservation

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that our government has completed three lakh works worth Rs. 10 thousand crores. Plants are life giving. Madhya Pradesh is the motherland of rivers. This entire region is blessed with rivers. The rivers of the Ganga basin extend from Janapav hills to Indore. Rivers like Kshipra, Gambhir, Chambal originating from here travel till Ganga Sagar. More such campaigns will be run in the coming times. We will do whatever we can for the environment.

Indore is playing a leading role

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the threat of El Nino is visible today. Trees are capable of coping with all such threats. These trees of ours do penance like sages and give us blessings. Today, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the guidance of Home Minister Amit Shah, the last salute to the Naxalites has been given across the country. It is noteworthy that before the start of the campaign, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign with the aim of increasing public awareness about environmental protection. Under this campaign, a resolution has been taken to plant 21 lakh saplings in Indore. 51 thousand saplings are being planted in the BSF campus, whereas today a total of one lakh saplings are being planted in Indore. Indore, which has made its own identity across the country in the field of cleanliness and public participation, is now playing a leading role in this campaign of environmental protection.
