The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has reopened online registration for the recruitment of Assistant Professors. Applications for Assistant Professor (B.Ed.) posts were previously accepted from May 23 to June 21; however, the Commission has now decided to reopen registration for these positions. According to the official notification, candidates can submit their applications from July 10, until July 20.
**Registration Fee**
The registration fees have been set as follows:
General/OBC/EWS: ₹2,000
SC/ST: ₹1,000
**Salary Details**
Candidates selected for the post of Assistant Professor will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹15,600 to ₹39,100.
**Educational Qualifications**
To apply, candidates must hold a B.Ed. degree with at least 55% marks from a recognized institution in India. Additionally, candidates must possess an M.Ed. degree and have qualified in the NET examination conducted by the UGC.
**Selection Process**
Candidates will be selected based on a written examination and an interview. The written examination will consist of questions worth 200 marks, covering General Knowledge and the relevant optional subject. Candidates who qualify in the written examination will appear for an interview carrying 30 marks.
To apply online, candidates must first visit the official UPESSC website at upessc.up.gov.in. Next, they should click on the online registration link and carefully enter all the required details. After paying the registration fee, candidates must upload scanned copies of the necessary documents. Finally, a printout of the application should be taken for future reference.
