What happened to this woman has forced everyone to think whether women are no longer safe even at home? Has the fear of law completely vanished from the minds of criminals?

What is the whole matter?

In the viral video, the woman told that a delivery agent had come to the flat with her parcel. After giving the luggage, the agent made a strange demand from the woman to use the toilet. Keeping her safety in mind, the woman flatly refused and said that she cannot allow any stranger to come inside the house. Despite this, the delivery agent completely ignored what the woman said. He took off his slippers and forcefully entered the woman’s house.

Woman horrified by disgusting act

According to the woman, when he came out after using the washroom, what he did was extremely shameful and scary. He showed his private parts in front of the woman and did obscene acts. The crying woman said, “I was very scared. I had turned on the camera of my phone and was standing near the main door so that I could run out if needed. Today I do not feel safe in my own house. We read the news of rape every day and now this has happened with me too, I am completely shocked.”

Police took action and arrested the accused

There was a stir as soon as the video went viral on social media. People started demanding strict action against the accused. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, Marathahalli police immediately contacted the woman and registered an FIR. DCP Whitefield, Bengaluru informed that the accused delivery agent Vijay Mallikarjuna Kamath has been arrested by the police. A case has been registered against the accused under relevant sections of the Indian Justice Code (BNS) and legal action has been initiated.

Flipkart apologized, fired the agent

After the incident came to light, Flipkart has also reacted to it. The company has publicly apologized to the woman and fired the accused delivery agent with immediate effect. The company says that they do background checks on every employee and such incidents are very rare, but they are fully cooperating in this matter.
