      Shruti Haasan has embarked on a fresh journey in her life by moving into her newly acquired residence in Chennai. The actress, who recently appeared in a special song for 'Peddi', celebrated this milestone with a traditional grihapravesh ceremony, sharing moments from the event with her followers on social media. The photos showcased Shruti engaging in the puja, along with images of sweets prepared for the occasion and the keys to her new home.

  The actor officially welcomed herself into her new Chennai abode through a grihapravesh ceremony attended by close friends and family. Images from the event, which were widely circulated on her Instagram stories and by paparazzi, depicted Shruti seated on the floor during the puja as priests performed the rituals. The visuals also highlighted the sweets arranged for this auspicious day and the keys to her new residence.     This ceremony symbolizes a new beginning for Shruti, who has consistently embraced change while remaining connected to her roots. Relocating closer to her hometown signifies a significant personal achievement for the actress, who has juggled work across various film industries for years.   Shruti's relocation comes almost a year after filmmaker Farah Khan visited her unique Mumbai residence, known for its gothic style, music room, and eclectic decor filled with personal memorabilia. While her Mumbai home reflected her artistic flair, the new Chennai residence is anticipated to provide a serene retreat near family and familiar surroundings.     On the professional front, Shruti remains busy with several upcoming projects. She is set to star in 'Train', directed by Mysskin, alongside Vijay Sethupathi. Additionally, she is expected to appear in the second season of 'Call Me Bae'. Reports indicate that Shruti Haasan received Rs 3 crore for her special appearance in 'Peddi', where she dazzled audiences with her energetic dance alongside Ram Charan. The lively track, composed by AR Rahman, also features Janhvi Kapoor. 'Peddi', directed by Buchi Babu, is a sports drama produced by Vriddhi Cinemas, with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings as co-producers.
