USMNT striker Folarin Balogun has officially joined Klutch Sports, the management agency backed by NBA legend LeBron James, following a standout performance at the World Cup that elevated his reputation both on and off the field. The move marks a landmark moment as Balogun becomes the first footballer to sign directly with the renowned agency, signalling his intent to expand his brand beyond football.

Balogun's association with Klutch Sports follows his breakout World Cup campaign. The agency, founded by James’ long-time associate Rich Paul, now represents the Monaco forward as part of an elite client list that includes LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Jalen Hurts and A’ja Wilson. This partnership also highlights Klutch’s growing presence in football after its 2024 acquisition of the European agency ROOF.

The 25-year-old enjoyed a memorable World Cup, netting three goals as the United States advanced to the round of 16 before bowing out to Belgium. His performances were widely praised for their composure and finishing quality, cementing his place as one of the most promising American talents in international football.

Confirming the news on Monday, Rich Paul expressed his excitement at welcoming Balogun into the Klutch family. “Folarin Balogun is one of the most talented and influential players in global football today,” Paul told The Hollywood Reporter. “His relentless ambition and cultural impact represent the standard of excellence we aim to uphold in this sport. We are truly proud to have him at Klutch and look forward to building a lasting legacy together.”

Balogun’s signing further enhances Klutch’s growing football division, which already manages players such as Malik Tillman, Gio Reyna, Kai Havertz and Mohammed Kudus, alongside several prominent managers. His arrival is expected to strengthen the agency’s footprint in both the European and North American markets.

During the World Cup, Balogun’s brace against Paraguay and his goal against Bosnia and Herzegovina highlighted his sharp attacking instincts and ability to perform under pressure. These displays not only boosted his international standing but also attracted the attention of top European clubs.

Currently playing for AS Monaco, Balogun’s future has become a topic of speculation, with several Premier League clubs reportedly monitoring his situation. He was previously represented by the UK-based Elite Project Group but has now chosen Klutch to guide the next stage of his career as he continues to develop into one of the sport’s most marketable and dynamic forwards.
