New opportunity to visit Ladakh
New Delhi: For people planning to visit Ladakh in summer, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation has offered a special tour package. This package is for 7 nights and 8 days with air travel from Chandigarh to Leh. In this journey, tourists will be taken to visit major places like Leh, Sham Valley, Nubra Valley, Turtuk, Thang Zero Point and the famous Pangong Lake.
Travel dates and flight details
The second batch of this package is scheduled from 28 July 2026 to 4 August 2026. The flight from Chandigarh to Leh will depart at 10:20 am and reach Leh at 11:25 am. In return, the flight will take off from Leh at 8:50 am and reach Chandigarh at 9:50 am. Timings of flights are subject to change depending on airline operations.
accommodation for travelers
Arrangements have been made for the travelers to stay in three-star category hotels and camps. During the entire tour, there will be facility to stay for four nights in Leh, two nights in Nubra Valley and one night near Pangong Lake. The package also includes shared vehicle for local tours, inner line permit, travel insurance, entry fee, guide facility from 2nd to 6th day and oxygen cylinder in the vehicle for emergencies.

For the batch of July 28, the fare for single occupancy has been fixed at Rs 40,020, double occupancy at Rs 42,630 and triple occupancy at Rs 36,660 per person. Fees for children have also been fixed according to different categories. This package includes air tickets from Chandigarh to Leh and back, seven breakfasts, seven lunches and seven dinners.
Additional expenses for passengers
However, some expenses will have to be borne by the travelers themselves, such as transportation to Chandigarh Airport, camel ride in Nubra Valley, personal expenses, hotel porter, tips, mineral water, laundry, phone bills, camera charges, extra meals and activities outside the itinerary.
