Fifa has officially revealed the line-up for the closing ceremony of the 2026 World Cup, promising an evening filled with global entertainment and celebration.

The grand finale will take place in New Jersey on 19 July, just before the final match kicks off, marking the end of a historic tournament that featured a record 48 teams competing across three host nations — the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The list of performers announced includes Laura Pausini, Nicole Scherzinger, and Robbie Williams, who will all take to the stage for the closing event. Joining them will be the acclaimed Jennifer Hudson, set to deliver a stirring performance of the American national anthem.

Internet sensation IShowSpeed, who gained international fame for his enthusiastic admiration of Cristiano Ronaldo, is also set to participate in the ceremony. While his precise role remains undisclosed, his track ‘Champions’ is part of the official Fifa World Cup album.

Adding to the star power, Hollywood icon Tom Cruise has been confirmed as part of the line-up, although details of his involvement are yet to be revealed.

Heimo Schrigi, the Chief Operating Officer of the World Cup, commented on the upcoming event, saying, “Echoing the spirit of the opening ceremonies, which welcomed the world to the greatest stage in Canada, Mexico and the United States, the closing ceremony will bring the Fifa World Cup 2026 full circle through music, culture and football, before we kick off the highly anticipated match that will crown the champions of this ground-breaking tournament.”

Only four teams remain in contention for the title in this 23rd edition of the World Cup. England are set to face defending champions Argentina on Wednesday, while 2018 winners France will take on reigning European champions Spain on Tuesday evening – both matches carrying the hopes of reaching the final and claiming the title of world champions.

Fifa has also confirmed that fans will play an active role in the closing ceremony, urging spectators to arrive at the venue at least four hours before kick-off to ensure their participation in the live performance.

More artists and special guests are expected to be announced in the coming days as anticipation builds ahead of the final showdown.
