The logic behind changing clocks
America's location on the globe means its daylight hours change a lot with the seasons. In summer, the sun can be up by 4:30 AM and it stays light until 9 PM! To use this extra morning light, they move the clocks forward by an hour in March. Then, in November, they turn them back an hour. India, on the other hand, is close to the equator, so our day and night timings are pretty stable. That's why we don't need to mess with our clocks.
