The closure comes after the popular Chinese chain shut its Hillion Mall outlet earlier this year.
Crystal Jade did not disclose a specific reason for closing its Suntec City outlet, saying only that it regularly reviews its portfolio of restaurants to ensure it remains aligned with evolving market conditions and its long-term business strategy.
Founded in Singapore in 1991, Crystal Jade grew into one of the country’s leading Chinese restaurant groups, expanding its portfolio through multiple dining concepts both locally and overseas. It operates a range of restaurant brands in Singapore, spanning Cantonese fine dining as well as casual noodle, dim sum and Chinese cuisine concepts.

The restaurant offers a menu centered on Cantonese cuisine, featuring a wide selection of dim sum alongside classic wok-fried dishes. Popular items include har gau (steamed prawn dumplings), steamed beancurd skin rolls with pork and prawns in oyster sauce, signature pork belly, homemade charcoal tofu with mushrooms, and a variety of seafood specialties.
Following the closure of its Suntec City outlet, Crystal Jade will operate 16 outlets across Singapore.
The move reflects broader challenges facing Singapore’s restaurant industry, with many operators struggling to cope with escalating costs, manpower shortages and an increasingly competitive dining landscape.
