Pune: India’s largest Automobile PPS Motors, one of the retail conglomerates, today announced the inauguration of Mahindra’s new touchpoint in Pune. This expansion further strengthens the company’s position in Maharashtra and further reinforces the company’s commitment to provide superior customer experience and convenient services. Inauguration of this center Mahindra & Mahindra’s National Sales Head Aman Malik, Zonal Sales Head (West) Gaurav Beohar, Regional Sales Manager Prabhakar Jakkan, PPS Group Chief of Staff Pakshal Shah and other senior officials of both the organizations were present.
The newly launched 3,600 sq ft showroom is strategically located at East Street in Camp Bhaga, Pune and is designed to provide a comprehensive and premium experience to customers. With the capacity to showcase 5 vehicles at a time, the facility showcases Mahindra’s entire portfolio of passenger vehicles. This includes both ICE and EV vehicles.
This showroom will provide customers in central Pune with a seamless, convenient and superior vehicle shopping experience in both conventional and electric mobility segments. Combining modern color schemes, attractive lighting, easy-to-use technology and a seamless interaction experience, every element of this dealership showroom at Camp has been crafted to convey a sense of advanced design, intelligent craftsmanship and refined elegance. With this opening, PPS Motors has further strengthened its extensive network in India, the group now operates 149 Mahindra touchpoints across 6 states namely Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. The group has sold around 41,500 Mahindra vehicles in FY 2026 alone, further cementing its position as Mahindra’s largest sales and after sales service partner in India. This dealership at Camp is the 8th Mahindra touchpoint of PPS Motors in Pune comprising of 7 showrooms and 1 workshop. PPS Mahindra has collectively sold more than 6,200 Mahindra vehicles in the Pune region in just 2 years of local operations.

According to industry reports, the passenger vehicle market in Pune is growing steadily with new car registrations reaching 74,814 units in 2025 compared to 69,447 units registered in 2024. This underlines the consistent consumer demand and growing automobile potential in the region. In the electric vehicle (EV) segment, Maharashtra retained its position as the country’s largest market in retail sales of electric passenger vehicles (e-PV) in FY 2026. According to data from the vehicle portal, 34,139 e-PV vehicles were retailed in the state during FY 2026. This was a 100% year-on-year increase compared to 17,092 vehicles in FY2025.
