Uttar Pradesh government minister Dharampal Singh commented on the case of alleged theft of offerings in the Ram temple and the possible final report of the SIT probing the episode. Along with this, he expressed his opinion on the comments of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav regarding the ban on non-veg food in the hostel mess of King George Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow and the Gyanvapi controversy. During this, he accused the opposition of doing appeasement politics and said that action will be taken in all cases as per law and judicial process.
On the allegations made by Akhilesh Yadav in the case of theft of Ram temple offerings, Minister Dharampal Singh said that Akhilesh Yadav never went to Ayodhya to have darshan of Ramlala. Even when many MLAs had gone for darshan, Samajwadi Party leaders did not reach there.
If Akhilesh Yadav was the first to raise this entire matter publicly, then it should also be a matter of investigation as to through what medium he first got information about it. The SIT will also investigate this aspect and all the facts to it will be investigated. Akhilesh Yadav’s aim is to do politics on this issue. The opposition’s concern is not about the alleged theft of offerings, but about playing politics to garner votes of a particular section.
On the possible final report of the SIT in the Ram temple offering case, the minister said that as soon as Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath got information about the matter, he immediately constituted the SIT. SIT is investigating with complete seriousness, impartiality and transparency.
The objective of the investigation is to bring out the truth and whoever is found guilty in this case, strict legal action will be taken against him without any discrimination. The investigation is moving in the direction of ‘milk of milk and water of water’ and no culprit will be spared.
Supporting the decision to ban non-veg food in the hostel mess of Lucknow-based KGMU, Dharampal Singh said that the opposition does not have any concrete issues to development, hence it is doing politics on such issues.
If students consume nutritious food and milk regularly, their body will remain healthy and mental development will also be better. Cow occupies the place of mother and consumption of its milk is considered extremely useful for the overall development of children and youth.
On the question of the Supreme Court advising both the parties to find a solution through mutual dialogue in the Gyanvapi dispute, Dharampal Singh said that both the parties are respecting the court process in this matter.
