Defending champions Argentina made an extraordinary comeback after trailing by a goal till the 84th minute against England in the second semi-final of the FIFA World Cup 2026 here on Wednesday and secured a place in the final for the second consecutive time and seventh time with the help of a 2-1 victory with a stoppage time goal. The three-time champion Latin American team will now face European powerhouse Spain for title defense on Sunday.
