Kathmandu. Nepal’s Vice President Ramshay Prasad Yadav paid a courtesy call on the Emir (King) of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in Doha. According to the Vice President’s Office, a high-level meeting between the two leaders took place at the Lusail Palace in Doha during their visit to Qatar.
Vice President Yadav has reached Qatar to pay tribute and condolences on behalf of the Government of Nepal and the Nepali people on the demise of former Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. During the meeting, he expressed deep condolences to Emir Sheikh Tamim, the royal family and the people of Qatar and wished for patience and strength in this hour of grief.
On this occasion, Vice President Yadav handed over the condolence and condolence message sent by Nepalese President Ramchandra Paudel to Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. Members of the Nepali delegation and senior government officials of Qatar were also present in the meeting.
