Audiences are eagerly awaiting *Ramayana*, touted as the most expensive film in Indian cinema. Fans are highly excited about the trailer and are keen to catch a glimpse of the movie. Now, a major update regarding the trailer has emerged.

**Trailer Receives ‘U’ Certificate**
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) granted a ‘U’ certificate to the *Ramayana* trailer on July 15. This approval comes ahead of the film's worldwide release on July 24, 2026. According to certification details, the trailer is slightly longer than the typical initial trailers; one version runs for 4 minutes and 15 seconds.

**Mention of Two Trailers**
The CBFC website also lists another trailer for the film, indicating that two versions have been approved. One trailer is 4 minutes and 15 seconds long, while the other is 4 minutes long. It is currently unclear which version will be released digitally, though both have received the ‘U’ certificate.

**Trailer to Release on July 24**
The makers have already announced that the *Ramayana* trailer will be released globally on July 24, 2026, marking the start of the film's promotional campaign. A trailer launch event is scheduled in New Delhi, where director Nitesh Tiwari, producer Namit Malhotra, and several cast members will be present.

**The Film’s Cast**
In *Ramayana*, Ranbir Kapoor will appear as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman. Reports suggest that Kajal Aggarwal plays Mandodari, Rakul Preet Singh plays Surpanakha, and Kunal Kapoor plays Lord Indra. The film also features actors such as Adinath Kothare, Lara Dutta, Sheeba Chaddha, and Arun Govil.

**When Will the Film Be Released?** Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film 'Ramayana' is a mega-budget project being made at a cost of approximately ₹4,000 crore. The film will be released in two parts: the first part is set to arrive this Diwali, while the second part will be released next Diwali.
