Actor Prabhas has officially announced that his much-anticipated film Fauzi will hit theaters worldwide on December 3, 2026. He shared this exciting news on his social media, accompanied by a striking new poster, stating, "अज्ञातपर्व ENDS. #Fauzi on 3rd DEC 2026."
The newly released poster features Prabhas sitting on a rock amidst a battlefield strewn with fallen soldiers, showcasing his character's battle scars and holding a rifle. The tagline reads, "A Battalion Who Fights Alone." Director Hanu Raghavapudi also took to social media to announce, "On 3rd DECEMBER 2026, the #Fauzi march begins."
Set against the backdrop of the early 1940s, Fauzi is a fictional action film that tells the story of a soldier, highlighting a lesser-known chapter of history. This film marks Prabhas' return to grand period dramas after the success of the Baahubali series. Raghavapudi, recognized for his work on Sita Ramam, is directing this project.
The film is a collaboration between Mythri Movie Makers, known for Pushpa, and Raghavapudi's directorial expertise, which is seen as a powerful partnership in the industry. The production team includes Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar, and Bhushan Kumar, with Mythri Movie Makers producing and T-Series Films presenting the film. Music will be composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar, while cinematography is managed by Sudeep Chatterjee.
Joining Prabhas in the cast is debutant Imanvi Esmail as the female lead, alongside seasoned actors Mithun Chakraborty, Jaya Prada, and Anupam Kher in supporting roles. Fauzi is set to be released in five Indian languages and will be Prabhas' second theatrical release of 2026, following The Raja Saab in January.
