On Wednesday, near Dharwara village of Karchana police station area, a bus filled with passengers went out of control and collided with the road divider. Immediately after the collision, a massive fire broke out in the bus, causing chaos on the spot. However, due to the presence of mind of the driver and the promptness of the passengers, everyone got out of the bus in time, due to which a major accident was averted.
According to eyewitnesses, after hitting the divider, smoke started coming out from the front part of the bus and within some time the fire engulfed the entire bus. There was screaming among the passengers in the bus. The driver immediately stopped the bus, after which the passengers somehow came out and reached a safe place.
As soon as information about the incident was received, the team of Karchhana police station and fire brigade reached the spot. The fire brigade personnel brought the fire under control after a lot of effort, but by then most of the bus was burnt and damaged.

Initial investigation believes that the fire may have occurred due to short circuit or fuel leakage.
