independent morning
Prayagraj.
On Wednesday morning, a group of advocates protested strongly and blocked the main road outside the District Court complex. During the protest, the advocates raised slogans against the administration by setting tires on fire on the road, due to which traffic in the area was completely affected for some time.
The protesting advocates alleged that a fake case had been registered against some advocates at the Georgetown police station. He said that filing a case without a fair investigation is against the justice system and the dignity of the advocate society. The advocates demanded immediate withdrawal of the case and action against the guilty police officers.
During the protest, a large number of advocates gathered outside the court. They sat on the road and raised slogans and expressed their anger by setting tires on fire. Due to this, the traffic around the District Court was affected and the pedestrians had to face a lot of trouble.
The advocates warned that if the cases registered against them were not withdrawn and a fair investigation was not conducted, the agitation would be further intensified. At the same time, the police say that the entire matter is being investigated and further action will be taken based on the facts.
