Sohail told that he had faced sexual harassment in his childhood. He did not talk about this to anyone and kept this incident within himself for many years. Later, after growing up, he spoke openly about this to his father Salim Khan.

Sohail advises children to always speak up
While talking to Arsalan Goni, Ruhi Dosani and Ali Goni on the show, Sohail said that he always explains to his children that they should not remain silent if someone misbehaves with them. He said that children should share everything openly with their parents, because it is not right to bear any problem alone.

I kept this a secret for many years
Sharing his experience, Sohail told that a wrong incident had happened to him in his childhood, but at that time he could not tell anyone about it. He said, “I was sexually abused when I was young. I kept this thing inside me for many years. When I grew up, I told my father about it.”

It wasn’t my fault, but I still felt ashamed
Sohail told that when he told his father Salim Khan about this, his father expressed surprise as to why he kept this thing inside him for so long.
Sohail said that he felt shy and hesitant to talk about it, even though it was not his fault.
