Faridabad Student Suicide: A case of death of an 18-year-old student has come to light in SRS Residency, Sector-88, Faridabad. According to police, the student allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the 13th floor. There was panic in the area after the incident.
As soon as the information was received, Bhupani police station reached the spot and took the body into custody and sent it to Badshah Khan Civil Hospital for post-mortem. After the post-mortem process was completed, the body was handed over to the relatives.
According to the police, the deceased has been identified as 18-year-old Danvita. She lived with her family in SRS Residency located in Sector-88. This incident happened between 11:30 am and 12 noon on Wednesday morning.
Was worried about not getting marks as expected in NEET
Family members told the police that Danvita had passed the NEET exam, but she did not get the marks as expected. She was under mental stress for some time regarding this matter. According to family members, he took this step due to this tension.
The police have inspected the incident site and started investigating the matter. Further action is being taken based on the information revealed in the initial investigation.
The family is from Vijayawada
According to the information, the student’s family is originally from Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh and was living in Faridabad for a long time. The student’s father Kateshwar is working on a post in JCB company. At the time of the incident, the student’s mother had gone to Vijayawada, while she was alone at home.
Police started investigation
Faridabad Police spokesperson Yashpal said that after receiving the information, the team of Bhupani police station had reached the spot. The post-mortem was conducted after taking possession of the body and necessary legal procedures were completed. According to the police, the statements of the family members have revealed stress after getting low marks in the NEET exam. At present the investigation of the case is going on.
