PM Modi Flags Off India’s First Hydrogen Train: India has taken a very big and historic step in the field of transportation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the country’s first modern hydrogen train from Jind, Haryana. This special train will run between Jind and Sonipat. This will not harm the environment.
Today is going to be a big and milestone day for Indian Railways. In the train running with this new and complex technology, only water vapor will come out instead of smoke. India has now joined the list of select countries in the world where such vehicles run. This will completely eliminate pollution.
Schemes worth Rs 26,000 crore
PM Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of development projects worth more than Rs 26,000 crore during his important visit to Punjab and Haryana. Various projects worth Rs 14,700 crore will be launched in Jind’s Ekalavya Stadium alone. New medical colleges in Bhiwani and Narnaul will also be dedicated to the nation today.
75 Amrit Bharat Railway Station
Prime Minister Modi is also going to inaugurate a total of 75 redeveloped railway stations of the country including the historic Jalandhar Cantt station. All these stations have been given a very modern look at a huge cost of about Rs 1,570 crore. This is a major and important part of the world’s largest station redevelopment programs across 20 states.
Gift to Jalandhar and Chandigarh
Various mega development projects worth more than Rs 5,400 crore will be inaugurated in Jalandhar and foundation stones of many will also be laid. There will be a grand start of development projects worth more than Rs 4,700 crore in Chandigarh. Apart from this, the foundation stone of a grand Sikh museum will also be laid in Kurukshetra which will showcase the teachings.
Railway Minister’s statement on technology
Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that it is a matter of great pride for India to develop such complex technology in the country. He said that hydrogen is a very important technology of the future which has been completely indigenously developed in India. This technology can be easily used in big trucks and ships in future.
Great experience for kids
School children traveling in this new and amazing hydrogen train also shared their wonderful experiences with the country. Children said that today is a very proud day for the people of Jind and Jind has become famous. This special pollution-free train was welcomed by everyone with great warmth and great enthusiasm.
