The Western India Regional Council (WIRC) of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) conducted “Career Awareness Program” at Sonopant Dandekar College, Palghar on 16th July 2026 to create awareness among students about the opportunities and career prospects in the Company Secretary profession.
The event was conducted under the leadership of CS Yogesh Choudhary, Chairman, ICSI-WIRC, on the occasion of celebrating Career Awareness Week on PAN India basis.
The college thanked the officials of WIRC of ICSI for delivering an informative and inspiring Career Awareness Programme. Their guidance helped TY BMS, BAF, BBI, BFM and 12th commerce and Arts students understand the role and importance of Company Secretaries. Students learned about the CS course, including the direct entry route to the Executive Programme for graduates. The session also highlighted the benefits of pursuing a professional qualification along with a degree. It motivated students to explore new career opportunities and plan their future with greater confidence.
