Bayern Munich are maintaining a calm and confident stance following reports from French outlet L’Equipe suggesting that winger Michael Olise is eager to push for a move to Real Madrid this summer.
According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, despite the media speculation, Bayern’s top executives remain fully composed. The club’s leadership has unanimously reiterated that the 24-year-old French international is not available for transfer.
The Bundesliga champions believe they hold a strong position in the matter. Olise’s current contract runs until June 2029 and does not include any active release clause, effectively ruling out any immediate exit options.
While Bayern accept that the Santiago Bernabeu might one day be a logical future destination for Olise, their current focus remains entirely on keeping him at the Allianz Arena for the foreseeable future.
To reinforce their commitment, Bayern’s management is preparing a new contract extension offer that would place Olise among the club’s top three highest-paid players.
The club’s confidence in retaining Olise rests on two firm foundations. Firstly, Bayern have received personal assurances from Real Madrid president Florentino Perez. Moving beyond any formal statements, Perez has directly communicated with Bayern’s hierarchy to confirm that Real Madrid are not pursuing Olise in this transfer window and have no plans to submit an offer.
Given the historically strong and respectful relationship between the two European giants, Bayern’s leadership fully trusts Perez’s word.
The second factor contributing to Bayern’s calm is the direct communication they have maintained with the player himself. During Olise’s impressive FIFA World Cup campaign, Bayern officials received clear and positive messages from both the player and his representatives reaffirming their loyalty to the club.
As of now, neither Olise nor his agency has expressed any desire to leave Munich this summer.
Therefore, despite continued speculation from media outlets in Spain and France, Bayern Munich remain entirely unconcerned about the situation. The club continues to plan for the upcoming season with Olise as a central figure in their long-term project while simultaneously working on securing his contract renewal.
