
Ludhiana, July 17. In the medical entrance examination NEET UG 2026, Aryan Gupta from Ludhiana, Punjab has performed brilliantly and secured first position in the entire country. Aryan secured All India Rank-1 by scoring 715 marks out of total 720. His achievement has not only made the family proud but has also spread a wave of happiness throughout Punjab.

Aryan Gupta belongs to a family of doctors. His parents, maternal grandparents, maternal uncles and aunts are all associated with the medical field. Seeing the atmosphere of becoming a doctor in the house since childhood, the same dream got strengthened in Aryan’s mind.

Aryan attributed his success to his continuous hard work, guidance from teachers and unwavering support from his family. He said, ‘Constant efforts and patience are most important for success in an examination like NEET. My strategy was to deeply understand the topics taught in class and do regular revision after coming home.

Actually, the changes in the examination process and the announcement of re-examination were a big challenge for Aryan too. He got 696 marks in the first examination. Despite closing his books after the announcement of re-examination, he repeated his entire preparation and this time scored 715 marks. He told that the second exam was more difficult than the first, but his faith in hard work was unwavering. He also described God’s grace and luck as an important part of success.
Told elder brother Aditya as his role model
Aryan attributed the most important role in his success to his elder brother Aditya Gupta. He said, ‘In the last two years, my brother showed me the right direction, explained the exam strategy and inspired me at every step. He has been my role model.
The family provided an open environmentdid not put any pressure
Aryan’s mother Renu Gupta said that education and hard work have always been given utmost importance in the family. He said, ‘Our hospital and home are at the same place, so it was easy to handle children’s education and family responsibilities. If the child works hard himself, the job of the parents is only to provide the right environment and support.
Father Sachin Gupta said that children were never pressurized to study. Aryan was also good at mathematics and had other options, but he decided to become a doctor himself. The family only provided direction and support. Aryan lived a normal life along with studies. For example, meeting friends, playing and spending time with family. Well, after Aryan’s success, the whole family is now planning to go on a religious trip.
