The injured students were immediately admitted to the hospital. After the accident, the gateman of the railway gate has been arrested by the police after preliminary investigation.

Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari expressed grief in this matter and announced compensation. The Bengal government has announced a compensation of Rs 5 lakh each to the families of the deceased. Indian Railways has announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh each.

Two children and an elderly person died in an accident at Govindpur railway crossing in Murshidabad. There were many school children in the vehicle at the time of the accident. While the vehicle was crossing the railway crossing, the vehicle was hit by a speeding train. The force of the impact was so high that the children were seriously injured. A cyclist was also injured in the accident.

After the accident There was chaos at the scene. Locals immediately rushed to the spot to help and admit the injured children to the hospital. The seriously injured children have been admitted to Berhampur Hospital and are undergoing treatment. The dead include two children and an elderly person.
